- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 tbsp. sugar AND 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. oil (canola or vegetable)
Mix the dry ingredients together. Add the milk, vanilla, and oil. Mix until well-blended. Pour the batter into your mug. Microwave at full power for 1 minute. If the cake does not look set, cook for another 10 seconds. Do not overcook. There are no eggs in this recipe, so you don't need to worry about under cooking. In fact, I think it's better slightly undercooked. Top with whipped cream, powdered sugar, or ice cream and hot fudge. Try mixing in some mini-chocolate chips for an extra chocolate punch.
